Arctic Renewable Energy Network

The North Atlantic Cooperation (NORA) committee of the Nordic Council of Ministers is organizing a session together with the Bellona Foundation on an Arctic Renewable Energy Grid.
Key topics will include green energy potential within the context of regional energy dynamics, and the political and economic benefits and challenges of the IceLink Project, a potential subsea cable between the United Kingdom and Iceland. Speakers will include representatives from Bellona, the University of the Faroe Islands, as well as governmental representatives from Iceland and the United Kingdom.
