The Arctic at Crossroads: Science - Climate - Policy - Europe

The 2024 Arctic Circle Berlin Forum will explore the role of Science, Climate, Policies and Europe in the future of the Arctic.

The Berlin Forum will be hosted by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and co-organized with the German Arctic Office at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research.

Session Proposal for the Berlin Forum

The call for Session Proposals for the 2024 Arctic Circle Berlin Forum is now closed. Governments, universities, companies, research institutions, organizations, associations and other partners were invited to submit proposals for Sessions at the Berlin Forum.

Evening concerts in unusual settings astonish audiences, the studios provide an open invitation to experience installations, and the open deck offers listening sessions in the early evening sun with a view of the water."

Announcement

The Arctic Circle Berlin Forum was confirmed to take place in 2024 during a Special Announcement at the 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly by Mario Brandenburg, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Germany.
