GOLDEN CIRCLE: FROM GEYSERS TO GREENHOUSE LUNCH
Embark on an adventure through some of Iceland's most breathtaking natural wonders and rich historical sites. Our journey begins with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its remarkable geological features. Þingvellir lies in a rift valley where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet and is home to Alþingi, the site of Iceland's first parliament dating back to the 10th century.
Next, we'll make a short but memorable stop at Kerið Crater. Our trip continues to Friðheimar, where we will savor a delicious lunch amid lush, thriving greenhouses that grow tomatoes all year round, thanks to Iceland's geothermal heat. Recharged, we proceed to the Geysir geothermal area. Our final stop is Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. After a day filled with scenic views, we'll return to Reykjavík, marking the end of our tour.
