EXPERIENCE ICELAND: HORSEBACK & HOT SPRINGS

Experience the best of Iceland's landscapes and relaxation opportunities in this well-rounded day tour. We will start our journey from Reykjavík, where we will go to our first destination, Íshestar, a reputable horse riding facility. Immerse yourself in the beautiful Icelandic countryside atop a friendly Icelandic horse (please note that there is a weight limit for riders). No experience? No problem! Íshestar's professional guides will ensure you feel comfortable and safe during the 1.5 hour-long riding tour.

After our horse-riding adventure, we'll get back on the road to Cafe Bryggjan in Grindavík. At this local favorite, you can refuel with some delicious Icelandic cuisine. Then, the crowning jewel of our day – the Blue Lagoon. Soaking in this iconic geothermal spa in the middle of a lava field is the quintessential Icelandic experience. You can enjoy the warm waters, relax, and benefit from the mineral-rich mud, as you take in the surreal beauty of your surroundings.

GOLDEN CIRCLE: FROM GEYSERS TO GREENHOUSE LUNCH

Embark on an adventure through some of Iceland's most breathtaking natural wonders and rich historical sites. Our journey begins with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its remarkable geological features. Þingvellir lies in a rift valley where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet and is home to Alþingi, the site of Iceland's first parliament dating back to the 10th century.

Next, we'll make a short but memorable stop at Kerið Crater. Here, marvel at this striking volcanic crater lake, characterized by its vivid blue water and contrasting red-hued caldera walls. Our trip continues to Friðheimar, where we will savor a delicious lunch amid lush, thriving greenhouses that grow tomatoes all year round, thanks to Iceland's geothermal heat. This family-run greenhouse operation offers a glimpse into innovative Icelandic horticulture.

Recharged, we proceed to the Geysir geothermal area. Spend time in this active geothermal area, home to the famous Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes, shooting hot water up to 30 meters into the air. Our final stop is Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. After a day filled with scenic views, we'll return to Reykjavík, marking the end of our tour.

GREEN GIANTS OF ICELAND: A CORPORATE TOUR

Embark on an extraordinary journey through innovation and sustainability, exploring the forefront of green technology with visits to Running Tide, VAXA Technologies, and Hellisheiðarvirkjun.

We begin our tour at Running Tide, an innovative company dedicated to ocean health and tackling climate change by cultivating macroalgae to help clean our oceans. Next, we continue to VAXA Technologies, where sustainability and innovation meet to create food for the future. Discover how this revolutionary company uses algae and geothermal energy to create a stable, year-round food source free from the constraints of traditional agriculture. Our journey then takes us to Hellisheiðarvirkjun, a globally renowned geothermal power plant committed to clean energy production. Here, you'll experience the Carbfix tour, a unique opportunity to see first-hand how this pioneering plant is reducing CO2 emissions by transforming carbon dioxide into stone underground.

While on this tour, indulge in the local culinary delights as we enjoy a coffee break and sample Kleinur, a traditional Icelandic pastry. Additionally, savor the taste of locally brewed beer produced using renewable energy at Hellisheiðarvirkjun.
