Complimentary registration for the Arctic Circle Assembly is granted to members of the press accredited by the Arctic Circle Secretariat. The Arctic Circle generally grants press accreditation to staff reporters from large-circulation newspapers, recognized online and radio outlets, and well-known production companies. Please note that media accreditation is not granted to representatives of academic journals or publications from consulting and subscription research firms. The Secretariat also grant press accreditation to a number of freelance journalists and independent producers every year. This process is highly competitive and we receive more applications than we are able to accept.
Media attendees must apply for accreditation by sending supporting materials to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Staff Reporters: If you are a staff reporter at a recognised publication, please send us an e-mail from your organizational e-mail address and attach your CV in PDF format. The file name should contain your first and last name.
- Freelancers: Journalists who are not staff reporters should apply for accreditation as freelance journalists by sending us the following materials: • Your CV attached in PDF format. The file name should contain your first and last name. • A brief description of your interest in the Arctic Circle Assembly (roughly 100 words). • A pitch for at least one article you plan to submit for publication based on the Arctic Circle Assembly. Please include information on the intended publication(s). • Links to articles you have published in the past.
Please note that media accreditation is subject to Secretariat approval and that registration is complimentary only for those to whom accreditation has been granted. If you are not granted accreditation, you are still welcome to attend the Forum under the appropriate paid category.
