The annual Arctic Circle Assembly brings together governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, Indigenous communities, citizens and others for a comprehensive and democratic Arctic dialogue. The Assembly is the largest gathering on Arctic affairs. It is a place for international engagement, cooperation, and celebration.

Assembly Area Applications Now Open!
The Assembly Area consists of Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, the Reykjavík EDITION Hotel, and the outside area surrounding the buildings. The Area provides many different and creative ways of engaging with the 2025 Arctic Circle Assembly participants.


2025 Polar Dialogue
The Arctic Circle Polar Dialogue will continue at the 2025 Assembly. It will consist of a series of Sessions, consultative meetings, workshops, and high-level Plenary Sessions.
The initiative aims to facilitate science and research cooperation in the Arctic, Antarctic and Himalaya-Third Pole region, as well as other ice-covered areas of the world. Chaired by H.E. Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Prime Minister of Iceland 2017-2024, the Polar Dialogue unites global experts and policymakers to address scientific challenges and foster collaboration.

2025 Business Forum
The Business Forum will take place during the 2025 Assembly at the Reykjavik EDITION Hotel (located within the Assembly Area). It consists of a series of Sessions, consultative meetings, workshops and high-level Plenary Sessions. The Business Forum will delve further into areas of interest including tourism, the blue economy, infrastructure, innovation and more.
Additionally, the Assembly program has Business Forum Sessions that are open to all participants.

The Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Awards
The Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Awards will be awarded for the fifth time at the 2025 Arctic Circle Assembly.

• Registration fees are charged in EUR.
• Please note that participation in the Assembly can often be covered by a vocational training fund (ísl: starfsmenntasjóður).

Cancellation of registration
- A cancellation made more than 4 weeks prior to start of the Assembly will be charged 25% of the registration fee.
- A cancellation made less than 4 weeks but more than 2 weeks prior to start of the Assembly will be charged 50% of the registration fee.
- A cancellation made less than 2 weeks prior to start of the Assembly will not be refunded.
- Please note that service and ticketing commission fees are non-refundable.

2024 Polar Dialogue
The Polar Dialogue builds on the preceding Paris Polar Summit held at the initiative of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron in November 2023, and a series of discussions during consultative meetings with key stakeholders in Paris, Reykjavík, Monaco and Berlin.
The 2024 Polar Dialogue took place at the Arctic Circle Assembly and consisted of a series of sessions, consultative meetings, workshops and high-level Plenary Sessions taking place during the Assembly's three days.

2024 Business Forum
The Business Forum was launched at the 2024 Arctic Circle Assembly. The Forum builds on ten years of Arctic Circle's successful operations, during which many businesses and financial institutions have credited their participation as instrumental for development and success.
The Arctic Circle Business Forum participants benefited from a wide range of Sessions and multiple networking events. A key element of the Forum was to highlight sustainable business development and industry best practices.
